This Friday, 12/13, I’ll be playing a show at the Lilypad in Cambridge, MA with Rachel Sumner. This will cap off a small but rewarding return to performing for me this year. I hope and intend to continue playing live in 2025, but this is currently the only performance I have booked. It’s also my first ticketed show in over five years, which increases my nervousness a fair bit. Admission will be $20 at the door, but you can buy a ticket in advance for $15 right here. Rachel and I will each be playing solo sets: she’ll have her full repertoire of wonderful songs to choose from, while I’ll be focusing on new songs that I’m excited to share. If you’ll be in the area, I hope you’ll join us.
This photo by Fede Pedro is from Open Folk LA at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA. Open Folk is a great songwriter showcase and community that Fede has developed, and I was lucky to get the opportunity to perform a set while Rachel and I were in California this past week. We played there and at Humdinger Brewery in San Luis Obispo as part of the Songwriters at Play series, and the other performers and listeners in both places were incredibly warm and welcoming.
Anyway, I hope to see you next Friday, 12/13. Thanks for reading and for your support.
Hi Ian, obviously it's great to hear a sign of life. Looking forward in hearing new songs from you. It's been a while. Kind regards from the low lands, Rein
